I’m not here at Tom’s to drink Daiquiris'.
All day I’ve been taking the back roads across Texas: driving through a rolling ocean of grays and greens at seventy plus (the speed limit in most places). To my eyes it seemed a scrolling sea of dots flickering past,
glimpsed but not really seen.
All day I’ve been doing this and at last I’ve got as far as Lubbock, and I’m hoping to catch the second half of the game. Having little cash, Tom’s happens to be my only option, all the other places on the strip either have a steep cover or no television.
This is my reality, and presently it’s all about Tom’s.

Post more Francis news as you get it please! I wish there was enough going on in Syracuse to keep him around. But the fact is this guy is in bloom mode and needs a big audience with whom to share his joyful and deep work.
Dear world, I hope you enjoy knowing Francis as much I do. There is no one like him, and very few who are half as talented or as fun to watch and hear perform. Be nice to him please. I don't want to have to beat you up. I want him back here in one piece, more inspired and expressive than ever. He's one of the great sons of Syracuse. We're happy to share.
